Stress has always been a common issue which most people have nowadays. Anybody, regardless a young or an old individual, can get stressed out easily for different of reasons. As a college student, I usually have a hard time dealing with stress from my study. Last year was the first time when my health was seriously attacked by stress. I had a bad headache and a feeling of nausea every morning after I woke up. My body was weak and my hair kept falling out. I ended up going to the Emergency Room twice and visiting the doctor a few times for having been too stressed over homework assignments and exams. So from my experience, I learn that stress can cause a lot of bad effects on the body and health condition. If stress is not concerned and carefully treated, it can become very a serious health problem.
Therefore, my blog will mainly focus on sharing some of the ways that I find most effective to deal with stress. My main purpose is to learn more about stress and to live healthy. I love to share these stress-reducing methods with people who also have the same problem suffering from stress and who are interested in healthcare. I hope my list will help and I would love to hear from you. Please feel free to share your stories and some of the ways that you feel work best for reducing stress!
This is a well thought out topic for you, as I can see that you have a personal connection to the content. I too have experienced unhealthy stress due to balancing school and work, but not to the extent you talk about in this post. I think it will be helpful to other people who are working through similar issues. Both links within your post worked well and expanded on your explanation in a good way. I look forward to reading more of your posts!
ReplyDeleteThis topic is a great topic and very informative and helpful.
ReplyDeleteI can totally relate to you. I too have had health problems because of stress. Some people don't believe that stress can take a toll on your health, so I am glad you are shedding some light on this. How were you able to overcome your health issues that were due to stress? I am looking forward to your future posts about this issue.
ReplyDeleteI think it's pretty clear that as college students, we are under a lot of stress. I didn't think I handled it well, but I haven't gotten to the point of needed to go to the hospital, thank goodness. I do, however, get stress migraines that can last for a couple of days and only make me stress out more because then I have less time to work on assignments. It's a circle that I can't seem to escape. I'm hoping that some of the things that have worked for you, will work for me as well.
ReplyDeleteI sometimes have stres migraines as you do and I know how it feels like. I think because we were so worried about the homework and highly concentrated on our work, we did not let our eyes and brain rest. Sometimes when I get stress migraines, I just lie down on my my bed, close my eyes and let them rest a bit. If it gets worse, I will take Advil to ease the pain.
DeleteMy stress has always been bad and it has triggered severe anxiety for me when it comes to school work and deadlines for assignments. It is difficult to be a college student these days! Juggling school, work, and sometimes a family is a lot to handle and it does not get any easier as you get further into your education. I believe this is an excellent topic to cover and I cannot wait to read your posts!
